The Horizon Companies provide a wide range of geological and geophysical analytical, processing and interpretation studies to the oil and gas industry in SE Asia. The companies have been operating in SE Asia since 1974, originally as local subsidiaries of Horizon Geophysical and Robertson Research International but have been independent since 1999.

PT Horizon Geoconsulting, and PT Horizon Nusantara Eksplora form Horizon Indonesia and support the Indonesian market, while Horizon Geoconsulting Pte Ltd was established in 2007 and is used for all work performed outside Indonesia. The technical center for operations is based in Jakarta.

The Companies employ a total of 85 people ranging from experienced geologists and geophysicists to technicians and data processors.
